The new model from the Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection features Julie Heffernan’s “Study For Self Portrait with Rose Skirt and a Mouse” on the back.
Pop surrealism meets self-portrait in this beautiful piece. Julie blends elements of reality and fantasy and creates a strong and confident figure as a symbol of resilience, grace, and the essence of the human spirit.
It has a bound mahogany body with a maple cap, a three-piece bound maple neck with an Adam Jones Custom profile, and an ebony fretboard. It is equipped with a reverse-mounted Epiphone ProBucker Custom humbucker in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan Distortion in the bridge; both are wired to CTS potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors.
A Marquee Back Plate with the artist’s name and the name of the artwork is also included. Finished in Antique Silverburst as an homage to Adam’s beloved original Silverburst 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom, a Protector hardshell case is also included.
This limited-edition collection blends Adam’s love of fine art and music, resulting in seven Silverburst Les Paul Custom masterpieces. Adam curated the five distinguished artists featured in the collection, and each guitar features artwork designed by artist Korin Faught on the back of the headstock. Only 800 guitars of each model will be produced.
