Known for his distinct sound, Starr’s frequent use of the Les Paul Junior in studio sessions and live gigs has largely shaped his musical influence and the band’s sonic identity. This limited edition guitar is not merely a replica; it is a precise, handcrafted re-creation of Starr’s favored instrument.
Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, this model features a mahogany neck, carved to mirror the original 50s profile from Starr’s beloved guitar. This has been achieved using digital scanning technology to ensure authenticity down to the minutest detail.
Adding to its unique specifications, the guitar sports a custom-designed overwound P-90 pickup, enhancing its already remarkable tone, and an adjustable Wraparound bridge with locking studs for stable tuning and sustain.
Each of these exclusive pieces comes encased in a Historic Les Paul Junior “Gator Skin” hardshell case. Included are special Charlie Starr collectibles: a Signature Ceramic Slide and a “Hey Ya’ll” sticker, reflecting the artist’s personal touch with the original’s unique misspelling.
