At the heart of the Crimson III is its advanced nine-piece setup featuring Alesis’ exclusive mesh drum heads, delivering unparalleled playability and natural expression. The updated Crimson III drum module comes packed with 80 kits (40 factory presets and 40 customizable user kits) and 470 sounds, including samples from the world-renowned BFD drum library. Its enhanced user interface now includes six mix faders, giving players precise control over their sound.
The kit includes an 8” kick, a 12” dual-zone snare, two 8” dual-zone rack toms, and a 10” dual-zone floor tom, alongside a 12” hi-hat with control pedal, two 12” crash cymbals with choke, and a 14” triple-zone ride cymbal. A robust 4-post steel rack and a double-braced snare stand provide the durability and stability needed for even the most dynamic playing styles.
To help drummers refine their skills, the Crimson III offers built-in practice tools like a metronome, a real-time recorder, and a 1/8” input for playing along with your favorite tracks. Connectivity options include stereo 1/4″ outputs, a headphone jack, and USB-MIDI output for integrating virtual instrument plugins seamlessly.
A standout feature is the module’s SD card input, which lets users load custom .WAV samples and assign them to any pad. This feature also supports .WAV play-along tracks, opening up endless creative possibilities for both practice and performance.
